"The Babylonian Empire was a very interesting topic to research about. I learned about the Hammurabi Code which made the Babylonian Empire so popular. The Hammurabi Code maintained order in the empire because of the laws. People were afraid to commit crimes because they would be punished according to the gravity of their crimes. It is sad that, today in our country, some people are not even scared of the law. Many people try to defy the laws of the state bringing disorder in the country."
"Making the website for this project was not an easy task but I realized that with the proper research materials and enough pictures, the site can be done. This project has not only made me learn about the life of the Babylonians in the past but it has also taught me that success can be attained with unity and cooperation and good leadership." |
"Great leaders of Babylonia unified their country and defended them from different enemies. The Babylonian Empire was able to take control of their kingdom for a long time. Just like their leaders, we need to persevere and work hard so that we can reach our goals. We are lucky that we do not have the same social classes as they do. It is really sad to know that they had to sell their children to pay their debts. It also inspiring to know that the Babylonians also had forms of art and have influenced our society today."

"The Babylonians were specialists in mathematics, experts at gem-cutting and knowledgeable in astronomy and medicine. They were the empire who succeeded the previous Akkadian, Neo-Sumerian and the Old Assyrian empires. They spoke the Akkadian Language and used this in everyday living, literature and arts. They were also philosophical, having been evident through their usage of dialogs, folklore, epic poetry, hymns, lyrics, prose and much more which contained various philosophies of life and beyond. Simply put, they were one of the most intellectual empires in Mesopotamia, having contributed many scientific and cultural knowledge and evidence, allowing them and others to develop into the civilizations of the world today."

"Personally. I think that the Babylonian Empire contributed to our current world status, since they introduced indifferent social standings. Their social standings represented some controversy in their Empire since the people were free from work, excluding the middle classes. From this Social Standings, I learned that the Babylonian Empire has its differences from other Empires since it has a different view of social perspectives. Though there was some controversy found in the Social System itself, I think that it is good since it has a different value. And their social standings are also good, in my opinion, because there are not as much of a hassle in their Empire."
